From Newbie to Novice — A Fast Route to Lv.20 (Launch Week)

🎯 Goal & Style

Get to Lv.20 smoothly in launch week without overthinking it. Short stops, steady upgrades, minimal backtracking. Works solo or in a duo (any melee + support is ideal).

🧰 Prep (2 minutes)

  • 🗺️ Bind to your starting village and learn the teleporter NPC location.
  • 🧪 Stock consumables: HP potions, basic shots/arrows/mana pots (use “Beginner” grades if offered).
  • 💸 Save adena early—avoid buying sidegrades; one clean weapon upgrade around Lv.12–15 is enough.
  • 👥 Find a buddy/clan: duoing halves downtime; shout in /party or check the Forum.

🗡️ The Route (move when kills take >3–4 hits)

Lv.1–4 — Village Outskirts (Wolves/Goblins/Gremlins)

  • Pick up the starter kill quest from a Guard/Captain by the gate.
  • Focus on fast-dying mobs; turn in once for an early potion/adena bump.

Lv.4–8 — Fields & Ruins

  • Shift to fields/ruins just outside your race’s village (e.g., Ruins of Despair/Agony, Windmill Hills, Abandoned Camp equivalents).
  • Keep shots toggled only on tougher targets to save money.
  • If repeatables exist, do one turn-in per level, don’t grind the same quest endlessly.

Lv.8–12 — Deeper Ruins & Camps

  • Start grouping 2–3 mobs at a time if safe; kite ranged enemies into corners.
  • Upgrade weapon only if your kill-time doubled. Skip armor until later.

Lv.12–16 — Underground/Instance-like Areas

  • Look for slightly denser dungeons/crypts (or the highest-HP “field elites” you can safely farm).
  • If you get a dungeon quest chain, follow it once, then bounce back to open-world for speed.

Lv.16–20 — Bandit Posts & Strongholds

  • Prioritize humanoid camps with good drop density.
  • XP/hour peaks with duo pulls: one player tags, the other gathers/peels.
  • Save adena; you’ll want it after Lv.20 for class paths/gear.

⏱️ Expected time (solo): ~90–120 minutes casually; duo: ~60–90 minutes.

⚙️ Gear & Skills (keep it lean)

  • 🗡️ One weapon spike around Lv.12–15; keep it N-grade/“basic” quality and enchant later.
  • 🛡️ Armor is luxury before Lv.20—use drops/quest rewards.
  • 📜 Level core damage/buff/taunt skills; skip niche actives until you’re past 20.

🧠 Smart Habits That Save Time

  • 🔁 Turn in quests only when you’re already heading back; don’t shuttle.
  • 🏃 Always be moving toward the next camp when your bag nears full.
  • 🍲 Use food/potions early to keep your pull cadence; downtime kills XP.
  • 📦 Drop, sell, or warehouse heavy junk so you’re not overweight.

🧭 Suggested Stops (pick what matches your race/start)

  • Village Outskirts → Fields → Ruins/Abandoned Grounds → Deeper Ruins/Crypt → Bandit/Stronghold.
  • If your spot is crowded, rotate clockwise around the region; density beats competition.

🧩 Duo & Party Notes

  • ⚔️ Melee + Support melts packs.
  • 🛡️ If you’re tanky, anchor 2–3 mobs constantly; if you’re ranged, keep line-of-sight breaks handy.
  • ✨ Share shots/poisons/food—small boosts add up over an hour.
